Gujarat government. launches Suryashakti Kisan Yojana (SKY Scheme) 2022, farmers can install solar panels at a cost of up to 5% and generate electricity, check returns, benefits, features, full details here
The Gujarat government has launched the Suryashakti Kisan Yojana (SKY) 2022 for the welfare of farmers. Under this program, farmers can use solar energy to irrigate and can sell the remaining energy on the grid. To install solar panels, farmers will have to pay only 5% before the total cost. Central & State govt. will provide 60% subsidy and another 35%, state government. will provide low-cost loans to farmers for 7 years.
Farmers can generate energy through these solar panels and can sell them to the national government. Government. will buy electricity for Rs. 7 per unit for 7 years while Rs. 3.50 in the remaining 18 years. The SKY program is expected to bring together 15 lakh farmers in 33 districts and provide them with solar power through 7,060 feeders.

Gujarat CM launches Suryashakti Kisan Yojana aspiring ambition as a power harvest program for Gujarat farmers. This system enables farmers to generate electricity by installing solar panels on their farms for use and to profit from selling the remaining energy. The Gujarat Suryashakti Kisan Yojana exploration phase was launched early on 19 October 2018 from the Bardoli region.
